Building Conditions Summary
0038 - Standard Building
Constructed in 1923 and occupied by the university in 1984, this building is used by the Music Department. With poor acoustics and navigation problems from floor to floor, including limited accessibility for the handicapped, this building does not function well. (See Image 3.41)
Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning System: The roof top package unit has been severely modified and rigged. The original control package is subject to lightening and other interferences. When the system works, it does not work well. There is VAV distribution with electrical heat in the VAV boxes.
Plumbing: The plumbing is in unsatisfactory condition and needs replacement.
Electrical: Electrical is old, inadequate,and needs replacement.
