History of Accreditations
Georgia State has been accredited by the regional collegiate accrediting agency, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, since 1952. The last reaffirmation visitation was in 1998. The various colleges and departments are also accredited by a range of academic and professional bodies. They include:
