Georgia State Downtown Campus

Within a one-hour commute for more than three million citizens, Georgia State is the second largest institution of the 35-unit University System of Georgia. The 2004 Fall enrollment was 27,267 students. Graduate enrollment is 30 percent or 8,180 students.
A downtown Atlanta location offers advantages. In addition to adjacent corporations and businesses, facilities such as Grady Hospital (See Image 1.8), Hughes Spalding Medical Complex, the Russell Federal Building and the Atlanta Journal and Constitution newspaper contribute resources to the university.
