Special Interest Housing

At the intersection of Piedmont and Edgewood avenues, there are plans to begin design and construction of 20 townhouses in 2006 for fraternity, sorority and international students. Along with the University Lofts, this would create a critical mass reciprocally beneficial to commercial establishments along Edgewood and Auburn avenues, the university and the downtown community. (See Figure 5.13)
