Master PlanSummary Page | Master Plan Table of Contents Previous Page | Next PageThe University Science Park
The University Science Park, planned for the southeast corner of the Decatur Street and Piedmont Avenue intersection, will provide an anchor to the new pedestrian spine and create a strong southeast corner of campus. The project, which has been programmed, is envisioned as a 200,000 GSF teaching lab and a 160,000 GSF research lab. (See Figures 5.7 and 5.8) A Center for Advanced Collaboration and other science facilities will be added to the site in the future. The University Science Park will set a new campus standard for research space and will continue the architectural standard established by the design of the Student Recreation Center.
