6.3 Student Services (650, 670, 680, 690)
In the CEFPI guideline, this calculation is for the student service space typically found in a recreation center, including lounge (650), recreational rooms (670), meeting rooms (680), and locker areas (690).
It is calculated at 10 ASF per FTE student. The calculated FY 2015 space requirement is 315,000 ASF, compared with a 93,000 ASF. This is an increase of approximately 222,000 ASF over the existing space. A portion of this will be addressed in the proposed Student Recreation Center expansion.
