In 1997, Georgia State began preparing a blueprint for growth over the
next 10 years, based on planning
principles established in 1994. With the help of Sizemore
Floyd Architects, the university conducted interviews with
faculty, staff, students and downtown neighbors to develop a campus master
plan that supports the university's aspiration to be the nation's leading
urban research university.
