Important: In order to carry out our daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities safely, effectively, and efficiently, while complying with all local, state, and federal chemical, biological, fire, and OSHA workplace safety regulations, we hereby state our policies:

• We cannot handle any missing/wrong shipment other than making a note; you will have to contact the vendor's sales representative/customer service and Tony Burnett (1-3094 : Biology) or Robert Daniels (1-3958 : Chemistry) in the business office as soon as an order problem arises. This includes but not limited to packages and tanks.
• Due to our limited space to turn around packages and pallets, please do not consider the NSC Supply/Stockroom a storage or holding area for tank(s) / package(s) received from or to be returned to a vendor. As a courteousy, we can only accommodate each item for up to two (2) business days before enforcing our policy of sending it back to the vendor.
• To properly return a package, please arrange a return pickup in addition to a return authorization. Proper shipping label and payment/pre-payment must accompany each package to be brought to the NSC Supply/Stockroom. This will ensure a speedy return pickup by a shipper, and proper credit being applied to your account.
• Due to OSHA workplace and laboratory safety regulations, we cannot arrange your laboratory furniture for you. Thus, as soon as  laboratory equipment is ordered, please properly arrange your laboratory to accommodate it.
• Under no circumstances can we release a gas/liquid tank ordered by one laboratory to another laboratory, inter- or intra-departmentally, without the expressed written consent from the principle researcher of the laboratory that ordered it.
