WYNN-What You Need Now
WYNN is software that helps students read, study, and comprehend
text more easily and effectively. Used with a standard PC, WYNN
lets you open a file and hear it read aloud. Alternatively, you
can scan a page using a flatbed scanner, and read that aloud. Once
you open a file, you can alter the way the page is presented on
the screen as well as the way it is read aloud. You can also insert
notes and bookmarks, highlight sections, or look up words in the
dictionary.
WYNN is primarily used by students with Specific Learning Disabilities
and is helpful for people who do not have a diagnosed reading disability,
(dyslexia, dysgraphia) but find reading difficult, unpleasant, or
laborious. If you want to read more easily and more effectively,
WYNN may help you.
