The Office of Educational Opportunity and TRIO Programs
is one of the University's primary vehicles for outreach to the greater
Atlanta community. The Office serves as the coordinating body
for a
variety of programs designed to provide access to educational opportunities,
increase retention and graduation rates as well as prepare students
for doctoral study. Among its current programs are the Educational
Opportunity
Center, Educational Talent Search, Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate
Achievement Program, Student Support Services, CCAMPIS, Upward
Bound, and the
Upward Bound Math-Science Program. All of these programs are funded

The Center assists individuals in applying for admission to institutions that offer programs for post-secondary education, including preparing necessary applications for use by admissions and financial aid officers. The McNair Program is a pre-graduate fellowship
program designed to prepare undergraduate students for graduate studies.
The goal of the program is to increase the attainment of the Ph.D. by
students who are first generation/low-income and from underrepresented

An exciting, innovative academic enrichment program designed to motivate students to stay in school while encouraging their pursuit of post-secondary education. and graduation rates of first generation students, students with disabilities,
or students who show financial need. The college experience is enhanced
