Information for Exchange Program Directors

International-collaboration-type programs (popularly known as "exchanges") at Georgia State are initiated by Program- Specific Agreements. Examples of such agreements include Student Exchange Programs, including articulation-type agreements and Study Abroad, Faculty/Research Exchange Programs and Technical Cooperation-type programs.

To initiate/renew a Student Program Agreement:

Check GSU's International Cooperation Agreements Database for current agreements with the proposed international institution. This may help avoid duplicating efforts and/or assist with enhancing an existing relationship.
Review roles of Georgia State's support units and the university approval process.
Use the Program Director's Checklist to seek guidance on details of your agreement.
Download the applicable Agreement Template to draft your agreement
Submit a hard copy of your signed checklist, and an electronic copy of your draft agreement to Ms. Kike Ehigiator for university approval. in the Office of International Affairs (OIA). Ms. Ehigiator may also be contacted at 404-413-2530.
