International Cooperation Agreements

More than eighty active International Cooperation Agreements provide the formal mechanism through which Georgia State University engages with higher education institutions on every continent. These agreements allow faculty members, students and staff to participate in a range of scholarly activities for teaching and joint research, student and faculty exchanges, study abroad and collaborative economic development programs that target developing and transitioning economies.

OIA serves as the secretariat and repository for International Cooperation Agreements and as such, is responsible for guiding these agreements through the approval, renewal and termination processes, and for maintaining the official searchable database. OIA also develops and maintains the policy Guidelines and Procedures for International Cooperation Agreements. This document also contains examples of the three types of agreements, based upon the extent of cooperation, recommended by OIA.

To initiate an International Cooperation Agreement contact Ms. Kike Ehigiator in the Office of International Affairs or the respective college international representative.
