Conflict Coaching for Teaching Assistants

(Open to TAs and Student Leaders)

Often times, when conflict erupts, the person in the leadership position has the opportunity to address the conflict successfully by using a combination of conflict management and coaching strategies. In this workshop, attendees will be exposed to the coaching model called Conflict Coaching. The workshop includes:

An introduction to the Conflict Coaching Model and how it can be used to address interpersonal conflict in the workplace
General principles for Communication Skills
Specific tools for handling confrontation
