of Business Services is to provide advice and support to the University
community in the procurement of goods and services to promote the efficient
and effective use of financial resources in compliance with applicable
laws and regulations. Business Services acquires and distributes materials
and supplies and ensures that University property is disposed of in compliance
with applicable regulations.
We are governed by the Code of Ethics for all State employees as set forth in Official Code of Georgia 45-10-1. There is established for and within the state and for and in all governments therein a code of ethics for government service which shall read as follows: CODE OF ETHICS FOR GOVERNMENT SERVICE
Georgia State University Purchasing is a member of the National Association of Educational Buyers (NAEB) and adheres to the Code of Ethics as published by the NAEB. This code is listed below. We encourage you to review the code and to help us maintain these high standards.
