"The Ethics of Government Whistleblowing"
Candice Delmas is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Clemson University and the Director of the Law, Liberty, and Justice Program. She holds a M.A. in Philosophy from Georgia State University, a Master 2 in Ethics and Politics from the Université of Paris IV, Sorbonne, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Boston University. She specializes in philosophy of law, social and political philosophy, and ethics. Her research focuses on the political responsibilities of citizens under conditions of injustice. In her dissertation, and several articles drawn from it, she has argued that the grounds commonly used to establish the moral duty to obey the law support disobeying unjust law and engaging in civil disobedience to protest injustice.
