Andrew I. Cohen specializes in social/political philosophy and applied ethics. He is co-editor (with Christopher Heath Wellman) of Contemporary Debates in Applied Ethics (Blackwell, 2005). He has published on topics in rights theory, Hobbesian moral/political philosophy, and contractarian accounts of themes in ethics. He is currently working on issues in apologies and reparations for historic injustices.
