Motion Regarding Additional Academic Units Required for Admission

Effective immediately, freshman applicants will no longer be required to take additional academic courses beyond the 16 core CPC units.

On October 10th, the BOR made the following change in the BOR rules governing freshman admission. "Under the current admissions policy, students applying to any of the System's state, regional or research universities were required to take additional courses beyond the 16 core CPC units, from a list of System-approved courses. The Board...eliminates the System requirement for additional courses beyond the 16 units." We need to align GSU policy with BOR policy.
