Professor Reimann Participates in Meeting with Japanese Prime Minister

On November 16, 2007, Professor Kim D. Reimann participated in a Japan-US Exchange Roundtable meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda.  The Roundtable was conducted at the residence of Japanese Ambassador Ryozo Kato in Washington, DC and brought together American experts on Japan from the academic community, think tanks and grassroots organizations to discuss the past and future of Japan-US intellectual and cultural exchange.  During the roundtable discussion, Dr. Reimann spoke of the high level of interest in Japan in the Southeast region of the United States and urged the Prime Minister to do more to support Japan-US exchange efforts in this part of the country.  In the photo, she is seated two seats right of the Prime Minister and next to the Ambassador Kato.
