The Department of Political Science at Georgia State University invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, beginning Fall 2009. We seek a scholar with research and teaching expertise in Comparative Politics, in International Politics, or at the intersection of both. The department is developing strengths in the areas of democratization, international governance, and human rights but is interested in receiving applications from all research specializations. Successful candidates should demonstrate theoretical and methodological sophistication in their research, and they should be prepared to teach at the undergraduate, MA and PhD levels.
