Program for Rehabilitation Leadership

NEW! RSA Scholar Program information

Two Rehabilitation Continuing Education Programs (RCEPs) are the key focus of the Program for Rehabilitation Leadership (PRL). The RCEP service area spans eight southern states.

The RCEP for Administration and Management serves state vocational rehabilitation agencies. The Community Rehabilitation Program RCEP works with state vocational rehabilitation in maximizing the utilization and management of private non-profit organizations or training centers affiliated with state vocational rehabilitation agencies.

The programs of both RCEPs are designed to assist vocational rehabilitation programs in:

  • Developing human resource skills
  • Creating and sustaining effective partnerships
  • Enhancing organizational performance
  • Sustaining organizational leadership
  • Developing new and emerging leaders
  • Managing and sustaining organizational change
  • Promoting knowledge networking among individuals and groups
  • Supporting the implementation of national disability policy

PRL services include….

  • On-campus and field-based training and education
  • Long and short term consultation and technical assistance
  • Applied and action research, specializing in customer satisfaction

The Program for Rehabilitation Leadership is committed to the provision of quality services to persons with disabilities and the future needs of the vocational rehabilitation system through these two funded projects specifically targeting new talent to the field of rehabilitation as well as enhancing the education of existing vocational rehabilitation staff:
