The following Program for Rehabilitation Leadership projects are funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Rehabilitation Services Administration: The Regional Rehabilitation Continuing Education Program for Administration and Management The Georgia State University Regional Rehabilitation Continuing Education Program (RRCEP) for Administration and Management was established in 1978 in order to meet the recurring learning needs of administrators, managers, and supervisors of state vocational rehabilitation agencies within federal Region IV. Over the years this innovative continuing education program has evolved into an on-demand, rapid response resource for public vocational rehabilitation leaders throughout the eight states of Region IV: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The Region IV Continuing Education Program for Community Rehabilitation Providers (CRP-RCEP IV)
The Region IV Continuing Education Program for Community Rehabilitation
Providers (CRP-RCEP) serves community rehabilitation programs located
throughout the southeast. Begun in September 1997, the CRP-RCEP is a collaborative
project of the Program for Rehabilitation Leadership at Georgia State
University and the Center on Disability and Employment at the University
of Tennessee. Consortium on Distance Education in Rehabilitation (CDER) Georgia
State University, the University of North Texas, and San Diego State University
operate a university-based Consortium to provide a CORE accredited masters
degree program in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling. The masters program
is available to students throughout the U.S. and Canada. . For

As of August 2004, the Program for Rehabilitation Leadership offers scholarships
to students pursuing master’s degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling
at Georgia State University. This unique scholarship program provides
full tuition, fees, and a monthly expense stipend to students enrolled
in the CORE- accredited Rehabilitation Counseling Program of the Department
of Counseling and Psychological Services. Scholars commit to working in
the public vocational rehabilitation program following graduation, whereupon
they embark upon rewarding careers supporting individuals with disabilities
in achieving meaningful employment and community independence. For
