Annual call for nominations for student awards

1/5/2012 – Lindsey Cohen, Director of Graduate Studies

 

Faculty members are encouraged to nominate graduate students for the following awards.

Nominations should be sent by email to Lindsey Cohen (llcohen@gsu.edu) for the Richard Morrell, Percival Rogers, and Walter F. Daves awards, and the Trauma and Bailey M. Wade Fellowships. Nomination materials should be sent to Page Anderson (panderson@gsu.edu), chair of the Clinical Program, for the John Warkentin Award.

Faculty members can nominate graduate or undergraduate students for the Theresa Nash Bernstein Scholarship in International Travel. 

To nominate a student, send a brief memo (please limit to 1-2 paragraphs) providing a rationale for the nomination. Combine the memo with the student’s CV and any other supporting materials, as appropriate. The Graduate Program Committee will serve as the ad hoc awards committee to review these materials and recommend awardees to the Chair. All nomination materials must be received by 1-February-2012.
