GRADUATE STUDENT AWARDS: It is time to solicit faculty recommendations for graduate student awards. This year there are eight awards under consideration. Note that undergraduate students can also be nominated for the Theresa Nash Bernstein Scholarship in International Travel.
If you would like to nominate a student for one of the following awards, please submit a brief (please limit to 1-2 paragraphs) rationale for the nomination. The rationale memo, the student's CV, and any other supporting materials (e.g., teaching evaluations) as appropriate should be sent to the contact person below:

UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT AWARDS: At the Arts and Sciences
Award Ceremony, the department will bestow two annual awards to
undergraduate students: the Elizabeth A. Kenny Scholarship in
Psychology and the Outstanding Psychology Honors Student.
The Kenny scholarship is to be awarded to a rising junior or senior
psychology major. Any honors student who graduates during this academic
year (summer, fall, or spring) is eligible for the Outstanding
Psychology Honors Student award.
If you would like to nominate a student for one of these awards, please send an email nomination that specifies the award, the student’s name, and a brief statement of why this student deserves the award to Marsha Clarkson. Please do this by February 15.
The Theresa Nash Bernstein Scholarship in International Travel can be awarded either to a graduate or an undergraduate student. Undergraduate nominations for this award MUST BE RECEIVED BY FEBRUARY 1, 2013. See award details and nomination instructions above.
