Our Mission of Training and Research
The Psychology Clinic is the primary training facility for Georgia State University’s doctoral program in clinical psychology, a program fully accredited by the American Psychological Association. We are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of training and supervision for our graduate students, and we support clinical research which advances the practice of psychology. Continuing education workshops are offered regularly by the Clinic to Georgia psychologists and other members of the professional mental health community.
Our Outreach to the Community
The GSU Psychology Clinic has been dedicated to providing high quality, accessible and affordable psychological services to the Atlanta community and the GSU Campus since 1965. We provide confidential counseling and assessment services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. All services are designed to be culturally sensitive and compassionate for all clients and to reflect high standards of professional ethics and competence.
