Students who do not have the prerequisites for a course will not be allowed to register for that course.

Credit for Transferred Courses: Occasionally a student may have taken a course at another school that was not properly equated with the equivalent GSU course in the GSU database. If this is the problem, contact Academic Assistance in the appropriate college to verify their records. The phone numbers for Academic Assistance are: Arts and Sciences (404) 651-2291; Business (404) 651-1913; Education (404) 651-2539; Health Sciences (404) 651-3064; Public and Urban Affairs (404) 651-3504. Students should also notify the Psychology department advisor at (404) 651-1628.

Transient and Post-Baccalaureate Students: Transient and Post-Baccalaureate students may show up as violating prerequisites because their records are not in the computer database. Transient and Post-Baccalaureate students may request a prerequisite waiver by submitting an online request form on the Psychology Undergraduate Website (link will be available soon - check the website periodically for updates).
