The only feminist/womanist activist organization at Georgia State University.

POW is:
Committed to making feminism/womanism and feminist/womanist issues and philosophies visible and relevant to the GSU campus, and to developing a focus on personal awareness and issues affecting female and male students by organizing activities, presenting information, and providing education on gender and human rights issues.

POW appreciates:
Any and all levels of involvement among its members and supporters. We understand that students' lives are hectic and some members may be able to contribute more time than others. Even if you can not attend weekly meetings, feel free to join us at any event or discussion group!
