Indian Creek Lodge Policies
and User Information
To Reserve Lodge

Reservations available to chartered student organizations and GSU departments only.
The lodge is NOT for personal use and may not be reserved if University is closed (weather/holidays).
Fill out reservation form in person in suite 200, Student Recreation Center or fax form to 404-413-1768. Call 404-413-1750 to ensure fax is received.
Student groups must have signature of advisor.
Check the on-line calendar at www.gsu.edu/recreation to ensure your date is posted. This is a tentative confirmation. You will be contacted by phone to confirm date and times for your event.
Reserve lodge at least one week in advance and not more than one semester in advance of event date.
All reservations will be a minimum of 6 hours and will include at least 30 minutes for set-up and 30 minutes for clean-up.
Student groups will be charged $60 for the minimum reservation plus $10 for each additional hour.
Student groups must present a deposit check for $25 in case of cancellation. (see cancellation policy)
GSU departments will be charged $90 for the minimum reservation plus $15 per additional hour. Department speedtype will be charged $25 if cancellation is made within 30 days of event date.
Users must vacate the lodge by or before scheduled end time.
All groups will incur extra charges for damage to facility and/or equipment and/or extra cleaning.
Pick up key to lodge the day before the event or before 5:15 on the Friday before a weekend event. If using our AV equipment, you will need to pick up an AV closet key.
Come to suite 200, Student Recreation Center between 8:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.
Return key to suite 200 the day after the event or the Monday after a weekend event. Failure to return key will result in a $25 charge.
Cancellation Policy
Notify the Department of Recreational Services if you need to cancel. If the cancellation is outside of 30 days from your event date, there is no penalty. If the cancellation is within 30 days of your event date, there will be a $25 cancellation fee payable by check for student organizations and by speedtype for departments.

Parking (in designated spots ONLY): 35 at lodge, 60 near pool at base of drive behind lodge
Ice machine
Tables/chairs: approximately 80 chairs, 6 round tables, eight 8’ rectangle tables
A-V equipment by special request (will need key to AV closet)
Things to consider:
You may use any caterer that you choose.
You must instruct attendees regarding parking. Under no circumstance should access be compromised.
Emergency vehicles must have access to lodge and pool.
There is no internet access.
Fireplace cannot be used; candles and other flammable materials are prohibited.
Alcohol use is prohibited. Smoking is prohibited inside the lodge.
Arrival checklist:
Turn on lights and fans; adjust temperature if necessary
Set up tables and chairs
Plug in coffee pot (it will take a few minutes to heat up)
Make note of anything out of order or unsatisfactory
Departure checklist:
Turn off all lights and fans; adjust temperature to 74 degrees on all thermostats
Empty trash in dumpster behind lodge; place new trash bags in all cans
Turn off coffee pot, oven, etc.; remove your items from the refrigerator
Sweep floors, vacuum carpet if necessary; find cleaning supplies in cleaning closet
Wash all dishes and place in appropriate cabinets
Return tables and chairs to storage closet NEATLY
Lock all exterior doors. Be sure you have the key with you!
NOTE: all exterior lights are automatically controlled.
