Your use of the ICRA Lodge is a privilege. Along with that privilege is a responsibility to keep it clean and neat for the next group. Please help us maintain this beautiful university resource.

The key to the Lodge must be returned to suite 200, Student Recreation Center by the end of the business day following your event or on Monday following a weekend event.

Please be sure that items are checked following your event:

 ___ All exterior doors locked. They do not automatically lock when closed.
Also, the double doors on the back of the Lodge require one door to be anchored (stationary) and pinned on top and bottom into the doorframe. The other door takes the key. Be sure that both doors are secure.

___ All interior lights, oven, and coffee pot in kitchen are turned off. Exterior lights on the front and side of the Lodge are on automatic timers and cannot be manually controlled. Deck lights and ceiling fans must be turned off at switch inside the door of the assembly room.

___ Trash emptied into the dumpster at back of parking lot behind the Lodge. Put new bags into the trashcans that were used. Replacement bags can be found under the kitchen sink or in the Cleaning Closet in the hallway.

___ Floors swept, carpet vacuumed as needed. Check the assembly room storage room or the Cleaning Closet for wet mops, brooms, and vacuum.

___ Audiovisual equipment returned. (This pertains only to groups who have requested use for the overhead projector, TV monitor, VCR,-DVD player, LCD projector or slide projector.)

___ Dishes and utensils washed and returned to proper cabinets. (This pertains only to groups who have requested use and obtained kitchen cabinet keys).

___ Reset all thermostats to 72 degrees year around.

___ Chairs and tables neatly arranged or stored as they were found.


  1. Storage or setup of supplies and equipment or decorations for an event outside of reservation hours is prohibited.
  2. Cleaning services or special set-ups are available for a charge upon request in advance of an event by calling the Facilities Management & Operation Work Center at (404) 413-0700..
  3. Two phones are available for use in the hallway of the Lodge. The pay phone may be used for local or long distance calls. The local phone, (404) 413-8668, is restricted to local (404), (770), and (678) area codes only.
  4. The grill behind the Lodge is available for your use. Bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. Leave the grill uncovered and we will cover it after the coals have cooled.
  5. Coffee machine and filters are available for your use. The machine must be plugged in to use. It is slow to heat up and should not be used until the green light appears.
  6. The gas fireplace should not be used without permission. Do not put combustibles in the fireplace.
  7. Groups may arrange for their own catering services but are still responsible for any trash or equipment left behind by the caterer.
  8. Cable TV is not available. Do not arm the security system unless instructed to do so.
  9. Audiovisual screen is mounted at the front of the assembly room. The control is on the opposite wall near the door to the hallway.
  10. An on-site supervisor may check on your group during your event. This person, however, is not authorized to allow entrance to the building.
  11. Messy conditions, damage, or malfunctioning equipment should be reported promptly to the Recreation Services office as soon as convenient. (404) 413-1750.
  12. Fire extinguishers are located in the assembly room, the kitchen, and in the hallway next to the restrooms.
  13. Parking should be confined to the paved areas only.
                   a. Parking at the Lodge: approximately 35 spaces
                   b. Parking at the garage behind the Lodge: approximately 15 spaces
                   c. Parking near the pool: approximately 60 spaces
  14. An ice machine is located next to the Coke machine in the hallway.
  15. The kitchen contains a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher and a deposit is not required to use them.
  16. Eighty stackable chairs are located in the assembly room closet with 6 round tables and 8 eight foot rectangle tables, speaker's podium and one dry erase board (dry erasers are not provided).
  17. Audio Visual equipment includes: Overhead projector, T.V., VHS-DVD player, slide projector and 2 -LCD projectors. This equipment is secured and requires requesting the Audio/Visual closet key.
