Fitness Assessments

The assessment includes a series of evaluations to measure
cardiovascular fitness, strength, flexibility, and body composition. Necessary for any personal training session, the fitness assessment targets your areas of need to develop a program based on the results.

Nutrition Counseling

Nutrition counseling is available with the registered dietician.
- Learn how to improve your eating patterns
- Learn what you are lacking in your diet
- Learn how to lose weight
The dietician will analyze your diet, develop a meal plan and answer your questions concerning food.

Cholesterol Screening

In addition to your total cholesterol level, triglycerides, HDL and LDL (good/bad cholesterol) will be analyzed. Several dates are scheduled each semester. Please call the Fitness Center at
404-413-1779 to obtain available dates and schedule your appointment.

Personal Training

Personal training sessions are available to ensure a safe and effective program. You and your trainer will construct goals to assist you in achieving strength, endurance, weight loss and flexibility.

Anaerobic Threshold/Max V02

This elite service is perfect for the recreational and competitive athletes who wishe to improve training and performance. In addition to measuring maximum heart rate and V02 max, you will find out the intensity at which your body begins accumulating lactic acid. Based upon the results of this test , training can be altered to raise your threshold and ultimately improve performance. This service is by appointment only.
