Memberships are available at the Service Counter located on the lobby level. Currently enrolled Georgia State University students have automatic membership through their student activity fee. Faculty, staff and Georgia State University graduates may join for a fee payable on a semester or annual basis. Students and faculty/staff with memberships must present their current Georgia State University Panther ID to gain admittance to the facility. Graduates must present their membership card. Each member must have a signed waiver on file.

Memberships are not available to the general public.

Spouses/domestic partners of current students and faculty, staff or graduates who are current members of the Student Recreation Center may join the Student Recreation Center for $102.00 per semester. Membership may be paid by cash, check or PantherCash. The faculty or staff SRC member may add the cost of the spouse/domestic partner membership to their current payroll deduction if they are currently using the payroll deduction system. Payroll deduction is available for locker rental to faculty/staff members of the SRC.

Children (of members) 7 years of age and under will be admitted free and must be accompanied by the adult member at all times. (Children 7 years of age and under are only allowed in the leisure pool.) Guest children 7 years of age and younger will pay a $3 guest fee.

Children (of members) ages 8-18 pay $25.50 per semester and must be accompanied at all times by the member parent(s). Payroll deduction is not available for children. Family membership to the SRC includes membership to the Indian Creek Recreation pool located at 900 S. Indian Creek Drive in Stone Mountain.


Fees

Faculty & Staff: $84.00 per semester OR $252 per year Payroll deduction of $21/month for annual memberships is available upon request.
Graduate of Georgia State University: $102.00 per semester OR $306 per year All graduates must be prepared to show proof of graduation.
Retirees of Georgia State University (receiving retirement benefits) $102 per semester OR $306 per year.

Spouse/Domestic Partner/Family Membership Policy


Spouses/Domestic Partners:

  • Spousal/domestic partners of students, faculty/staff or graduates will pay $102 per semester for membership.
  • Spousal/domestic partner membership is only available to spouses/domestic partners of current members (this would be verified each semester prior to the purchase and renewal of membership). Proof of spousal/domestic partner relationships will be necessary (joint checking account, mortgage or tax documents, etc.) prior to the purchase of membership. The spouse/domestic partner must accompany the member in order to sign-up for membership.
  • Spouses/domestic partners can use facilities anytime during open hours. The member does not need to accompany their spouse/domestic partner in order to workout.
  • Spouses/domestic partners would have the same guest privileges as regular members.
  • Payroll deduction will be available as long as the faculty/staff member is also utilizing this same service (this is not available to spouse/domestic partners of students).
  • Locker rental will not be available. Day-use lockers are available at no charge.

Children:

  • Children 7 years of age and under would be admitted free and would always be accompanied by a member adult (our rules already state that children 7 years of age and under are only allowed in the leisure pool).
  • Children age 8-18 would pay a $25.50 per semester fee (1/4 the adult member fee) per child and must be accompanied by their member parent(s).
  • Children 17 years of age and younger must have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.

Notes:

  • Spouse/domestic partner or children must be present at the time the family-spouse-domestic partner-family membership is pruchased.
  • Spouses/domestic partners will be issued a Panther Card and use the same entry/exit system as regular members. This card must be picked up from Auxiliary Services.
  • ID cards will be produced in-house for dependent children that will indicate parent member's name and child's date of birth.
  • Policies regarding spouse/domestic partner/family membership will be reviewed annually.
  • Parent member(s) must have direct supervision of their child(ren) at all times.
  • Fees will be adjusted accordingly with regular membership fee changes.
  • If you have purchased a family membership at the Student Recreation Center you have automatic membership at the Indian Creek Recreation Area Pool. The pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
