Membership Information
Memberships are available at the Service Counter located on
the lobby level. Currently enrolled Georgia State University
students have automatic membership through their student
activity fee. Faculty, staff and Georgia State University graduates
(alumni) may join for a fee payable on a semester or annual
basis or through payroll deduction. Students, faculty/ staff and
graduates with memberships must present their current
Georgia State University PantherCard to gain admittance to the
facility. Each member must have a signed waiver on file.
Payment may be made by cash, check or PantherCash.
Memberships are not available to the general public.
Fees
Faculty & Staff . . . . . . . . . . . .$84/semester-$252/year
Payroll deduction is available for $21/month.
Graduates of Georgia State University . . . . .$102/semester-$306/year
Must show proof of graduation.
Children of Members (ages 8-18) . . . . .$25.50/semester
Payroll deduction is not available for children. Children (of
members) 7 years of age and under will be admitted free.
(Children 7 years of age and under are only allowed in the
leisure pool.) Parentsor legal guardian must sign a waiver for minor dependents. ID cards will be produced in-house for dependent children that will indicate parent member's name and child's date of
birth. Parent member(s) must have direct supervision of
their children at all times.
Spouses/Domestic Partners . . . . . . . . . . .$102/semester
Spouses/Domestic Partners of current students, faculty, staff
or graduates may join the Student Recreation Center.
Membership may be paid by cash, check or PantherCash.

Spousal/domestic partner membership is only available to
spouses/domestic partners of current members (this would
be verified each semester prior to the purchase and renewal
of membership).

Proof of spousal/domestic partner relationships will be
necessary (joint checking account, utility bill, mortgage or tax documents, ) prior to the purchase of membership. The
spouse/domestic partner must accompany the member in
order to sign-up for membership.

Spouses/domestic partners will be issued a PantherCard
and use the same entry/exit system as regular members.
This card must be picked up from Auxiliary Services.
- Spouses/domestic partners can use facilities anytime
during open hours. The member does not need to accompany
their spouse/domestic partner in order to workout.
- Spouses/domestic partners have the same guest privileges
as regular members.
- Payroll deduction is available as long as the faculty/staff
member is also utilizing this same service (this is not
available to spouse/domestic partners of students).
- Locker rental will not be available. Day-use lockers are
available at no charge.
- Policies regarding spouse/domestic partner/family
membership will be reviewed annually.
- If you have purchased a family membership at the Student
Recreation Center you have automatic membership at the
Indian Creek Recreation Area Pool. The pool is open
Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Fees will be adjusted accordingly with regular
membership fee changes.
Guests
Current members are allowed to bring up to 3 guests per day.
Guests 8 years of age and older pay $5.00 each, per day.
Guests 7 years of age and younger pay $3.00 per day. Guest
passes are nontransferable. All guests must be accompanied
by the member while using facility. Guests from the ages of
8-17 are allowed in the following areas: the main gym, omni
gym, track, climbing wall, leisure pool, lap pool, game room
and racquetball/squash courts. Guests 7 years of age and
younger are allowed only in the leisure pool. Guests may not
check out equipment. Members must check out and be
responsible for equipment used by guests. Members will be
accountable for the conduct and/or damages as a result of
their sponsored guests. Failure to comply with policies may
result in loss of privileges and financial reimbursements.
Admission to the Student Recreation Center is a privilege, not
a right and Georgia State University reserves the right to
remove and/or ban members and guests from the Recreation
Center if, in the university's sole discretion, such members or
guests are disruptive or believed to have violated University policy.
Procedures for Guest Admittance
Members must pay for and register their guests at the Service
Counter.

Guests must present a form of picture identification when registering

Guests must sign a waiver at the desk when registering.
- Children of guests 17 years of age and younger must have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.
- Guests must carry guest pass with them.
Spectators
A request for complimentary spectator privileges for intramural events will be honored provided:
- the request is sent to the Intramural Coordinator or
Intramurals (intramurals@gsu.edu) by 2 p.m. on the day
of the event,
- the request is for non-GSU students or parents of our
participants,
- the spectators understand that their complimentary
admittance is for the intramural event only and no
participation is allowed in any area of the SRC,
- and students or members will be responsible for the
conduct of their sponsored spectators
