Certification is valid for one year. Renew your certification and receive a new card by demonstrating proper practical skill to the on-duty climbing wall supervisor and by signing a new Climbing Wall Use Agreement. No pre-registration is required. No cost to renew.
KIDS CLIMB
Children ages 8 to 16 may use the climbing wall when supervised and belayed by certified parent/guardian.
LEAD CLIMBING
Experienced climbers will have the opportunity to lead climb routes on the wall during specified times only. This allows the climber to practice for real outdoor lead climbing experiences in a controlled environment. This designated route is changed periodically. All climbers must follow the designated route assigned until it is changed by the staff. Attend one of the Sport Lead Certification Clinics to challenge out or become certified. Must be belay certified for six months or prove other significant experience. See climbing wall attendant for specific details and rules.
