Ocoee Raft Trip

As our most popular rafting trip, the exciting Class IV white water river in Tennessee is regarded as one of the finest in the Southeast. Expect to get wet and work as a team to paddle down the river. You can’t beat this for a day of thrills as a beginner or novice whitewater enthusiast! This is a river of constant whitewater intensity of big waves and solid fun. The ability to swim is recommended. Register by Friday the week before each trip.

Chattooga River Scenic Raft Trip
Raft this section of the Chattooga River with our expert guides and enjoy Georgia’s only National Wild and Scenic designated river. The rapids will get you pumping with intense, large drops and big waves between still water pools filled with wildlife and scenery. Enjoy a picnic style lunch on a sandy riverside beach.

Chattooga River Paddling
This trip is offered to the experienced whitewater canoeist. We will paddle Section III of this free-flowing natural“wild and scenic” river. You must obtain permission prior to sign-up.

Nantahala Raft Trip
Experience the exhilarating thrill of rafting on this beautiful North Carolina whitewater river during fall color season! This 8.5 mile run is very scenic and enjoyable for beginners as well as veteran rafters. Expect to get wet and work as a team to paddle down the river. Stop off at the local shops afterwards to snag some souvenirs. The ability to swim is recommended.

Whitewater Kayaking School River Trip
Students from the whitewater kayak clinic will be safely guided down two North Carolina rivers on a 2-day river trip. The first day will focus on river reading skills, and progress from slowly moving water and waves to faster Class I & II waters. The second day will bring larger waves and faster moving water with one optional Class III rapid. Unused spaces will be available to experienced paddlers.

FLATWATER

Chattahoochee River Floats
Experience a relaxing float in a canoe down the Chattahoochee River with a few moments of excitement through easy, swift moving water. These trips are designed to make for a relaxing end to a stressful day or week and will allow you appreciate the scenic beauty of the areas in and around metro Atlanta. No experience necessary, basic instruction is provided. The ability to swim is recommended. Trips meet at 3 p.m.

Short Kayak Touring for Beginners
This trip will afford beginners the opportunity to learn the skills
necessary to enjoy exploring in a touring kayak. Learn paddling
techniques, safety concerns and how to pack your boat. We will leisurely paddle around the lake at Stone Mountain Park to make for an
enjoyable educational day. Experienced paddlers are welcome.

Okefenokee Swamp
Fun to say and fun to paddle, the Okefenokee Swamp and slow moving
Suwannee River is a beautiful canoe camping destination for late fall in
southern Georgia. You’ll enjoy amazing serenity and abundant wildlife on this 10-14 mile per day paddle trip. Canoe skills and primitive camp experience preferred.

FLY FISHING

Beginning Fly Fishing Trips
Join us for a one day intensive introduction to the popular sport of fly
fishing. We will travel to North Georgia for hands on instruction in fly casting, fishing strategies, knot tying, and an introduction to insects, tools and techniques. This session is geared to the beginner; no experience is necessary. GA fishing license with Trout Stamp required.
