RELIGIOUS STUDIES STUDENT SYMPOSIUM:
YOUNG SCHOLARS SHARE STRUT THEIR SCHOLARLY STUFF

Call for Student Submissions -- 2014 Religious Studies Student Symposium!

This is an open invitation for students to consider submitting one (or more!) of your better papers to the Annual Religious Studies Student Symposium, which will be held on Tuesday, April 8, at 2:30. Submissions are encouraged to submit proposals on any topic in the Study of Religion; length should be about 5-6 pages. Proposals are due Tuesday, March 25.

There is no restriction on what type of paper may be submitted. It may be one of your more successful ones from last semester, or one that you are currently working on this semester. For graduate students or honors students working on a thesis, this is an excellent opportunity to "test drive" your work.  It is also a wonderful opportunity to get experience presenting your research in a public forum. For undergraduates, this is a chance to stretch out a little bit, to try something a little new and ambitious.

The Symposium has been a HUGE success over the last several years, with excellent papers, enthusiastic audiences, and wonderful discussions after the papers. What's more, the presenters were all struck by how much FUN the experience turned out to be. There were even cookies and other refreshments!

Limited to GSU students.
