Isaac Weiner joins the Department.

The faculty of the Department of Religious Studies is pleased to announce that Isaac Weiner has joined the faculty in Fall 2009 as an Assistant Professor specializing in American religions. Isaac Weiner completed his doctoral work this spring at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, working with Dr. Randall Styers, Dr. Thomas Tweed, Dr. Grant Wacker, and Dr. Jason Bivins. His dissertation is entitled "Religion Out Loud: Religious Sound, Public Space, and American Law."
