About Ray Ferreira
| Dr. Raymond Ferreira has extensive experience
in strategic planning, market research, and market plan development for
private clubs across North America. Dr. Ferreira has been an assistant
professor at the University of Houston's Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel
and Restaurant Management prior to coming to Georgia State University's
Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality Administration. He has taught both graduate
and undergraduate courses in strategic planning, private club management,
marketing, and research methods. Dr. Ferreira has over twelve years
experience in managing private country and city/athletic clubs in the Washington,
D.C., Baltimore, Duluth-MN and Houston areas. He has been a frequent
speaker at Club Managers Association of America's National Conference and
regional meetings. Dr. Ferreira has also taught business and marketing
classes in the Management Department at the College of St. Scholastica
in Minnesota. His Ph.D. is from University of Maryland, M.B.A from
University of Minnesota and a BA from Rutgers University. He has numerous
research publications published in the top tier hospitality journals in
the areas of strategic planning and marketing in private clubs. |
