Fire Extinguisher Types
Fire extinguishers are rated by the type(s)
of fires they are designed to put out. These ratings are identified on
the label of the fire extinguisher. Listed below are the three types of
ratings:

Ordinary combustible materials such as
wood, paper, plastics, and clothing |

Flammable liquids |

| Class C: |
Energized electrical equipment |
