Risk and Insurance Assessments

These are important evaluations conducted by the Safety and Risk Management Office to assist Georgia State University departments in determining areas of risk exposure associated with new or modified processes and activities in local operations. A checklist tool is administered (for insurance and liability purposes) to provide an overview of the activities within the department in order to identify insurance risk. University departments may request risk and insurance assessments by contacting the Safety and Risk Management Department at 404-651-4320.
