Introduction to QuickBooks®

Can you manage what you can't count? If you're fighting an uphill battle to organize your  business records, QuickBooks® accounting software can help.

Follow simple steps and watch as transactions you enter transform into financial statements.  Walk through the steps for a new company by setting up accounts, new customers, vendors, opening balances, and report formats.  Learn how to record everyday events like purchasing inventory, paying bills, invoicing customers, depositing funds, reconciling bank statements, and more.

Session 1: Accounting Overview - 9:30 am - 12:30 pm 

Understanding the basic accounting steps and functions makes the implementation of QuickBooks easier, but more importantly, creates a foundation of useful information from your accounting data.  Designed for the new business owner, or first-time QuickBooks user, this program presents a practical approach for accounting systems, including Chart of Accounts, Report Basics, completing the QuickBooks setup, and Lists.

Session 2: Integrating QuickBooks- 1:00 - 4:00 pm

The initial setup of QuickBooks is tricky for someone who is not familiar with the software.  Learn how to complete the setup correctly. Topics will include:
