“Smoking Prohibition”

Be it enacted by the Student Government Association of Georgia State University:

 

Whereas, the purpose of SGA, as outlined in the Constitution is to provide a response forum for student concerns and interests and to actively seek out, investigate, and resolve student complaints and concerns; and

 

Whereas, the Student Government Association is the official voice of the students; and

 

Whereas, the Students of Georgia State University have requested, through the SGA that there be no smoking allowed in the entrance ways of the University buildings; and

 

Therefore, let it be resolved that the SGA is in favor of proposing to the administration that there be no smoking allowed within a 25-foot radius of all University building entrances.
