Summary of Discussion (e.g. key topics, presenter):	Discussion about changing title to vice-chair of committee. It was agreed upon and Randall Alberts elected.

Agenda item:	Term Limits for Staff Senators
Summary of Discussion (e.g. key topics, presenter):	There was discussion. It was agreed by the committee that Staff Senators should be limited to two terms before being off of Senate for one year prior to reelection. By-law amendments were made to be taken forward to the Executive Committee.

Agenda item:	Eligibility of Senators to vote in Senate Elections
Summary of Discussion (e.g. key topics, presenter):	Suggested language that a Staff Senators term would end prior to the meeting of Staff Senator elections. This would make Senators ineligible to vote unless they were also an elected Staff Council representative. By-law amendments were made to be taken forward to the Executive Committee.

Summary of Discussion (e.g. key topics, presenter):	There was a discussion about what is seen as an unfair practice of people only marking one or two names when additional seats are up for election. There was a discussion and proposed language changes for the by-laws that will be taken forward to the Executive Committee.

Summary of Discussion (e.g. key topics, presenter):	There was a discussion about the timeline for Senator Elections and how the elections often fall close to the first Senate meeting for the year. There was discussion about moving the Senate application process to January and having the election in February as the last official act of the outgoing Staff Council.
