Join us for an informative and interactive discussion about the facts, myths, and key components of health reform on November 30th,2009 at 1pm. This event is free and open to all Georgia State faculty, staff, and students.

Ranell Myles, a PhD student in Sociology, received a Ford Foundation predoctoral scholarship and was featured on the main GSU website in September 2009.

Dr. Deirdre Oakley was quoted in "Atlanta is Making Way for New Public Housing" in the June 20th, 2009 edition of The New York Times on the demolition of public housing units in Atlanta.
Dr. Mindy Stomber was mentioned in "Sociology: You Know It When You See It" published in the Summer 2009 issue of Contexts, a quarterly magazine published by the American Sociological Association.
