Research Interests: Erin Echols' main interests are in race/ethnicity and religion. Specifically she is interested in how evangelical and mainline Protestants make sense of race and racial inequality. She is also increasingly interested in how evangelicals use social media to discuss and negotiate gender roles. Erin currently serves as a Graduate Assistant for Dr. Miriam Konrad.
