Cinefest
Cinefest is our student run movie theatre! In operation since 1991, Cinefest screens a wide variety of films for the community including cult classics, foreign films, documentaries, independent films and Atlanta premieres. Concerts
The committee is responsible for programming, promoting, and implementing large and small scale acts on campus, including but not limited to the library plaza entertainment and homecoming concert. This committee selects diverse musicians and other talents, works through agents and managers, and arranges the co-programming of musical events within Spotlight and with other groups on campus if needed.
Graphic Design
The committee is responsible for designing all materials for Spotlight programs and events. The director will coordinate the ordering and pickup of the printed materials and work with the Public Relations director to develop appropriate policies and timelines.
Homecoming
The committee is responsible for programming, promoting, and implementing Homecoming Week activities, such as but not limited to a parade, pep rally, and Greek Showcase. The director is responsible for arranging the co-programming of Homecoming events within Spotlight and with other groups on campus if needed.
Membership
The Membership committee coordinates volunteer opportunities with Committee Directors for the smooth running of Spotlight programs. The committee informs volunteers of opportunities, delegates assignments and serves as a point of contact for the volunteers.
Panther Prowl
The committee is responsible for programming, promoting and implementing monthly late night non-alcoholic activities. They include but are not limited to concerts, novelty acts, interactive games, and comedy shows. These events are to enhance the Georgia State community by providing traditional and late night programming alternatives for Georgia State students.
Public Relations
The committee is responsible for coordinating all aspects of publicity and promotion of Spotlight events and programs through a variety of media, including but not limited to WRAS, GSTV, Signal ads, flyers, handbills, posters, information tables, and selecting Spotlight giveaways.
Special Events
The committee is responsible for programming, promoting, and implementing a balanced and diverse selection of events including but not limited to lectures, comedy shows, novelty acts, interactive games, and performing arts that reflect the interests of the entire student population.
