Spotlight Programs Board presents GSU Night at Six Flags. Join us Friday, April 24, 2009 from 6 p.m. – midnight.
During this time, Six Flags will be open exclusively to Georgia State University students, alumni, faculty, staff, family and friends.
Three Easy Ways to Purchase Tickets:
• Visit the Student Center Information Desk which accepts cash and checks. Tickets available through Thursday, April 23 at 11:00 pm.
• Visit the Georgia State University Bookstore which accepts cash and credit cards. Tickets available through Thursday, April 23 at 4:00 pm.
• Order online by clicking here which accepts credit cards. There is a $3 convenience fee per ticket added, tickets will be picked at will call at Six Flags. Tickets available through Thursday, April 23 at 4:00 pm.

• $19.99, March 23 – April 10
• $27, April 10 – April 24

• Purchase of tickets for Georgia State University’s Friends and Family Night at Six Flags includes a FREE return ticket!
• FREE for children two years old and under.

Will Call
• Tickets purchased online through the Rialto should be picked up at the Will Call table at Six Flags on the night of the event between 6:00 – 9:00 pm.
• In order to pick up ticket(s), you must provide:
o Copy of the ticket confirmation
o Valid picture ID
o NO EXCEPTIONS
Schedule:
• 6 p.m. gates open for Georgia State University’s Friends and Family Night at Six Flags ticket holders only.
• Midnight: gates close.
What will be open?
We must reach at least 3,000 tickets sold to have at least 70 percent of the theme park open. This includes Superman, Georgia Cyclone, Georgia Scorcher, Batman, Acrophobia, Déjà Vu, Goliath, Bumper Cars and game areas! Additional sections will be open as more Panthers buy tickets! If 5,000 people or more purchase tickets, the entire park opens. It will be just like normal operating day at Six Flags but without the lines!
Who can come?
Anyone tied to the Georgia State family in some way is welcome to come to the event. Whether you are a current student, faculty member, staff or alumni we would love to have you at the event. Feel free to bring friends and family and encourage everyone to wear blue and white Georgia State attire!
Parking
Parking is free for the event. Attendees will park in the main Six Flags Over Georgia parking area and will use the main entrance.
Alcohol
Please help keep the night a safe one for all members of the Georgia State community. Alcohol will not be permitted on the premises and persons visibly intoxicated will be denied admission without refund.
Cancellation
In the unlikely event that the Georgia State University’s Friends and Family Night at Six Flags must be cancelled, information will appear on this website at least 24 hours before the event.

FAQs
If I have a season pass to Six Flags do I still need to purchase a ticket?
Because the Georgia State University’s Friends and Family Night at Six Flags is a private event, all guests will need to purchase a ticket. Unfortunately, season passes will not be accepted for admission.
Do I need to purchase tickets ahead of time?
Yes! Tickets need to be purchased in advance to ensure the park will be open. You can pick up tickets at the Student Center Information Desk, the Georgia State Bookstore, or online through the Rialto Box Office. Save money and buy today!
How many tickets may I purchase?
As many as you would like!
Will non-Georgia State grads be allowed to attend?
Of course! We encourage family and friends to come!
Do I need a Georgia State ID to purchase tickets?
No! This event is open to the Georgia State community, family and friends. No ID of any kind is needed to purchase tickets.
I want to bring young children. Is this event appropriate for them?
Yes! We planned the Georgia State University’s Friends and Family Night at Six Flags with our Georgia State families in mind!
I have a 2 year old. Do we need to purchase a ticket for her?
No! Children 2 and under are free!
Six Flag Policies
Dress Code
Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times in the park. Guests wearing articles of clothing containing obscenity or profanity will be asked to remove clothing.
Radios
No radios or tape players allowed.
Food and Beverages
No bottled beverages, food or personal coolers may be brought into the park.
Alcoholic Beverages
Alcoholic beverages are not sold in the park and are not allowed on park property.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited except in designated smoking areas.
Line Jumping
Line jumping is strictly prohibited. Guests are not permitted to save places in line or exit the line and return for any reason.
Ride Restrictions
Guests with certain body proportions involving height and/or weight may be denied the opportunity to ride attractions where safety restraints will not operate as designed. Please ask a ride attendant before waiting in line if you have any questions.
