Due to limited parking, we highly recommend that students take MARTA, Atlanta's public transportation system, to campus.

From North:

Exit I-75/85 Southbound at Courtland Street (Exit 249A) and proceed to Gilmer Street. Make a left onto Gilmer Street. The Student Recreation Center will be on the right just after you cross Piedmont Avenue.

From South:

Exit I-75/85 Northbound at Georgia State University exit. Take the left fork on the exit ramp to Central Avenue. Continue on Central Avenue. Take a right onto Decatur Street. Take a left onto Piedmont Avenue. Student Recreation Center will be on your right just before you reach Gilmer Street.

From East:

Exit I-20 Westbound at Capital Avenue. (Exit 58A). Turn right. Capital Avenue turns into Piedmont Avenue. Student Recreation Center will be on your right just before you reach Gilmer Street.

From West:

Exit I-20 Eastbound at Exit 56B. Head to the third traffic light. Take a left onto Central Avenue. Take a right onto Decatur Street. Take a left onto Piedmont Avenue. Student Recreation Center will be on your right just before you reach Gilmer Street.

From MARTA:

The Georgia State Station is on the East/West MARTA rail line (Station E1). Upon exiting the train, head downstairs to the main level. Exit the station onto Piedmont Avenue, which is at the western end of the station. Take a right (heading north) down Piedmont Avenue. Cross Decatur Street. The Student Recreation Center will be your right after Decatur Street.
