Please find the different Incept: New Student Orientation schedule options listed below.  Note that there is a parent/ guest Incept program running concurrently with each student schedule option.
New students can pick from three different conference formats or schedules.  Each conference format covers the basic orientation information but each has a different structure.
One day Incept: full day of orientation activities and is specifically designed for new freshmen students. Check-in for these conferences is 7 – 8:00am in the Student Recreation Center (101 Piedmont Avenue) and will last until 5:30pm.
Two day (overnight) Incept: follows a similar pattern to the one day Incept but new freshmen students stay in the University Commons overnight.    Check-in for these conferences is 9 – 10:00am in the University Commons Lobby (141 Piedmont Avenue) and will last until 12:00pm of day two. 
Freshmen/Transfer Catch-all: full day of orientation activities and is designed for students who are unable to attend orientation in May, June, or July.  Students are strongly encouraged to attend a freshman or transfer specific conference over the catch-all option. Check-in for these conferences is 7 – 8:00am in the Student Recreation Center (101 Piedmont Avenue) and will last until 5:00pm.
NOTE: New freshmen students entering in the summer and spring semesters will only have the freshmen/transfer catch-all format to choose from.
