Using
the Apple Quicktime Plug-in, the Enhanced Tour allows the viewer to
navigate through Georgia State University's campus as a 360-degree panorama
using Apple Quicktime. These panoramas are called nodes. Features include
zoom in (left control) and zoom out (left shift.) To move through a
Quicktime node, click and drag the panorama. Hotspots are linked to
areas of interest in the Quicktime Node, for example doorways, stairways
and elevators.
Maps
can be used as a quick reference of where you are on campus and where
you want to go (other nodes are linked in as hotspots.)
A
series of static images that can be navigated without the use of Quicktime
or Flash. A directional compass allows navigation through the pictures.
The compass is located in the lower left corner of the Virtual Campus
window. You may use the compass to turn and move forward.
