About UsThe goal of this group is to provide a way for all of the vegetarian students at Georgia State University to find other vegetarians on campus. Another major goal of the group is to introduce the ethics and health benefits of vegetarianism to students who may not be aware of them through outreach activities like tabling and hosting speakers.The membership requirements for this group are simple. First, you must be either a student or faculty/staff at Georgia State University. Second, you must maintain a 2.0 grade point average or better. This group is not designed to be “exclusive”; we want to have as many people learn about vegetarianism as possible. Therefore, even people who are not vegetarian are encouraged to join. Anyone who expresses a desire to join the group (with signing up on a membership list being the explicit request and sign of consent) and meets these basic requirements will automatically be considered a member. |
