If you have not used WebCT Vista before, you will need to do a browser tune up

Note. Even though you may have used an older version of WebCT in the past, it is important to do this tune up for Vista.

Username and password problems

Your username for WebCT Vista is the same as your Georgia State username (everything before the @ sign in your Georgia State e-mail address).  Your password is your GoSolar pin number.  If you changed your pin number before the beginning of the semester, it should be your original pin number.

If you feel that your password is not working, you must contact WebCT support to have your password reset. Be certain to include your Vista log on username in any e-mail you send. If you choose to call, have your log on username available for whoever answers the phone.

To avoid future password problems

Once you have logged on to WebCT Vista, you will find the "Change Password" link in the upper right hand side of your MyWebCT page. Be sure to fill in the secret question.  This will help if you ever forget your password.
